Galley – On a river cruise ship, Multiple Countries – Seasonal
Tasks / Responsibilities
- Responsible for the breakfast preparation
- Active assistance of preparing daily meals
- Professional food handling including buffet and guest service
- Implementation of our quality standards in the galley
- Compliance with HACCP requirements and labeling
- Active support with deliveries and loadings
Requirements
- Completed apprenticeship or specialized training as a cook
- Minimum 1 year of professional experience in a comparable position
- In-depth knowledge of the menu and food
- Knowledge of the tools and functions in the galley
- Good communication skills in English and/or German
- Excellent teamwork and expertise
Employment conditions
- Extra payments for overtime
- Equally shared tips after each cruise
- Accommodation and meals
- Contract duration: March/April/June – November/December
- Rotation: 6 weeks On / 2 weeks Off
- Joining tickets are provided by the company
- Travel tickets are provided by the employer only at the beginning of the season and end of the season if the person successfully completes the contract. The company gives a 200 Euro lump sum after each taken/organized vacation.
